Largest approx. 20" tall. Avra Messe was born and raised in Brooklyn NY. After graduating from the Kansas City Art Institute and earning a master's degree in ceramics from Alfred University, Avra became an assistant professor in the art department at the State University of New York at New Paltz. Her work has been exhibited at the Carnegie Museum of Art in Pittsburgh as part of a show chosen by the National Society of Arts and Letters.
