Johannes Hubertus Hendrikus Bévort (Dutch) was born in Utrecht on November 30 of 1917 and died in School on January 31 of 1996. He was a pupil of Chris Agtenberg, teacher Industrial Arts and G. Nijenhuis at the Art Academy Artibus. Bévort is well known through his naturalistic landscape painting with pallet-knife. John was a member of the International Organization of Free Art. His favorite subjects were harbors, beaches and wood-views. His woks are held by a number of European and American museum and private collections. His gallery prices range in the thousands of dollars. From the Bedford, NY Estate of a prominent commercial real estate developer (name withheld due to media restrictions).
