Hummel figurines are a line of porcelain figures inspired by the pastoral drawings of Sister Maria Innocentia Hummel. In the 1930's Franz Goebel of Goebel Porzellan, a mid-size porcelain firm at the time, acquired the rights to the drawings and started producing the figures we are familiar with today.
