Kurt was an avid collector of straight razors and a personal friend for over forty years. Kurt bought many of these examples from me over the past forty plus years. This offering is 1,080 pieces in 181 lots. This third session contains many unique, one of a kind straight razors and razor sets including celluloid, carved bone, figural cast aluminum, antique stag, sterling silver, tortoise shell, black buffalo horn & more. Kurt and his wife collected many other categories of memorabilia including antique toys, banks, tins, soda fountain items and advertising. We will be offering all of these items at auction in upcoming sessions.

Very ornate F&B Sterling silver handle having hollow ground blade. Sterling silver was the top of the line handle material for Cutlery firms in the late 19thC.  Foster & Bailey was a small quality American silversmith Company that operated in Providence, Rhode Island from 1878-1898. Note the ''Bee'' in the center of the pattern with flowers. This celluloid Handle is quite rare.
