This piece is still current at Bradley's and is on sale for approximately $2000. It measures approximately 30"Wx21" from each front edge to the back corner,x78" tall. Contents are not included. Top section has 2 interior shelves, bottom section has 1. Look at photos for condition. The owners of this estate lived abroad for many years and appreciated the fine quality of design and construction of Bradley Furniture and surrounded themselves with many pieces in their home.

Elephant sculpture, hand carved from Africa stone, a deposit of metamorphosed clay known as the marble of Africa. Artist Casper Darare passed away in June, 2001. He was a South African and studied under the renowned mute Shona sculptor, Shadu Chatsamer. Darare was one of South Africa's best known representational sculptors. The elephant measures approximately 14" longx6"Wx10.5"T It weighs approximately 20 pounds. The base has rubber strips glued to it to protect a table surface. There is a small nick on the front of the base. Look at photos for condition. The piece is signed on the base edge. It was purchased in South Africa in the early 1980s for over $300.

Bust of an African woman hand carved in verdite by artist Israel Chikumbirike, born October 7,1954 in Zimbabwe. This artist has been called "The Michelangelo of Africa." The bust measures approximately 5"x5"x11.5" tall. It is signed on the left side. Check photos for near mint condition.

The marquetry top is made with bird's eye burled wood that is inlaid with different colored woods. It is banded and has Chippendale styling. The pull out is tight to open and close. Look at photos for condition. It measures approximately 35"Wx18"Dx25.5" tall.

Three original watercolor still life floral paintings by artist Cynthia Lindsay Ball (1914-2007) . She lived and worked in South Africa and is known mostly for her landscape painting. These 3 paintings cost $1000 in 1987, and were purchased from an art gallery in South Africa. They are the same size, triple matted and wood framed under glass. The frame sizes are 37.5"x31", the image sizes are all 23"x17." Two are lilies and the third is geraniums. They are all artist signed.

It has oak drawer interiors, dovetailed drawers, solid Chippendale style brasses, flame finials, 2 shell carvings, finished back and top, and cabriole legs. Bradley, made in England double pedestal-kneehole executive desk with gold embossed green leather top, which has some damage. There are 2 locking secret doors in kneehole. The lock works and the same key operates three locking drawers on front It is made of pine and mahogany with arched, burl and bird's eye grained wood. There is minor wear on the desk and a piece of arch molding on back has a twist in it. Look at photos for condition. Measurements are 54"Wx27"Dx30"T.
